Austsea Hulls design of a fine entry mono hull was born from the necessity for speed from a wide bodied vessel suitable for heavy sea conditions.

The hull was designed to have more positive life in the bow than most conventional hulls. This hull boasts an unbelievable amount of stability, even at speeds in excess of 50 knots, when the hull is put through tight turns and manoeuvres.

The hulls are constructed from FRP (Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic) using vinyl ester resins. The weight of the hulls have been reduced by more than 50% using these materials. This makes the boat easier to launch and retrieve. It also means more economical running costs on the water and off (while towing behind a vehicle).

All of our hulls will have a T bar frame system which we have developed. The frame system and the hulls are made from vinyl ester resins which give the hulls unbelievable structural strength.
